Jacques Bermon Webster, II (born April 30, 1991) who is often referred to as Travis Scott (previously Travi$ Scott) is an American rapper from the United States. Scott is also a songwriter, singer as well as a record producer and songwriter. The stage name he uses is the combination of the name of a favorite uncle, and the initials Kid Cudi (whose real identity is Scott Mescudi), Scott was signed to his first major-label deal in 2012, with Epic Records. In April 2013, he signed a joint-recording agreement with Epic and T.I. He's signed to Epic as well as T.I.'s Grand Hustle imprint. Scott's first project of full length, Owl Pharaoh (mixtape) self-released in 2013. In 2013, Scott released his first full-length mixtape called Owl Pharaoh. It was then immediately followed by Days Before Rodeo. Rodeo (2015) was the debut album from the studio. The hit single "Antidote" was the main track. The second album, Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) was his first number-one album on the Billboard 200. Scott's second album, called Birds in the Trap: Sing McKnight (2016), was an album that was a collaboration with Quavo. It was titled Huncho Jack Huncho and featured his first Billboard Hot 100 single, "Sicko Mode" which featured Drake. Scott's Cactus Jack Records album JackBoys debuted on the Billboard 200 in late 2019. Following the single "Franchise" and Scott (featuring Young Thug) and M.I.A. were released, it topped the Billboard 200. Scott was the first artist on The Hot 100 to have three songs reach number one within a year.
