Will Ferrell
Will Ferrell
first became well-known as a member of the cast of "Saturday Night Live.
Later, he appeared in many major-screen comedies including Elf, Anchorman' and
even ’Talladega Nights. Will Ferrell was born in Irvine in the year 1967. He
began his career in comedy by being a part of the Los Angeles-based group The
Groundlings. After his seven-year stint as a Saturday Night Live cast member,
Ferrell was one of the most well-known comedic actors in the industry through
off-color hits such as Old School (2003) or Anchorman: The Legend of Ron
Burgundy (2004). Ferrell co-founded Funny or Die, a popular video streaming
website. He also enjoyed the success of voiceovers for actors in animated films
like Megamind (2010). John William Ferrell is a California native born in
Irvine on the 16th of July 1967. The oldest child of Righteous Brothers
keyboardist Lee Ferrell and teacher Kay Ferrell, Will was--by his own
admission, not the class clown as a student at University High School. Ferrell
was a quiet student who chose to be an elite footballer. He established the
school record for number of field goals he scored. Ferrell did not display the
same outrageous, humorous behavior in suburban homes as he did later.
