 Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub (American actress actor, comedian, activist) is a comedian. She was born in Soviet Union to Jewish immigrants and started her career shortly after immigrating from Israel to the United States as a child actress. The appearances she made as Lily Adams in AT&T TV commercials between 2013 and 2016 - and from 2020 on - earned her acclaim. Her commercial appearances were not her only activity she did. She also appeared on the Yahoo! Screen science fiction comedy Other Space (2015) and had a recurring role in the NBC drama This Is Us (2016-2017). After being featured in the TV pilot unaired for New Warriors, Vayntrub also plays Squirrel Girl on Marvel Rising. Vayntrub is an Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic (USSR) native and an American Jew. Her parents, who were both at the age of two, came to America as refugees from antisemitism. They settled in West Hollywood. Due to financial hardships within the family, she began performing in Mattel Barbie commercials when she was five years old. Vayntrub briefly attended Beverly Hills High School. She was kicked out of her sophomore year and obtained a GED. Following that, she went on to receive a Bachelor of Arts degree in communication from the University of California San Diego. She was a part of the Upright Citizens Brigade, and learned improv comedy.
